Solid, gorgeous, easy
I highly recommend this desk and company. Shipping took 3 weeks longer than expected (total of 4 weeks from order), but the desk arrived via FedEx when they said it would (after a personalized emailed update). The pieces arrived packaged securely and unharmed, with tons of padding, even though I didn't pay the extra $100 for secure shipping (just regular FedEx ground). The package was heavy enough to require two people to carry it up to my apt (50 lbs). The desk arrived largely already put together, and it was easy to attach the remaining pieces in just 3 simple steps, requiring only a screw driver plus the included hardware. The desk is very sturdy, drawers slide smoothly all the way so you can access the back, and the overall feel is high quality. The surface is large enough to fit my large monitor plus laptop, big desk lamp, keyboard and mouse, with some extra room as well. Overall a gorgeous mid century piece well worth the price!
